SHELTER FOR SUFFERERS.
Townspeople and others have been very much movod about tho recent treatment meted out to one of our workers in the back blocks, who arrived in Te Kuiti the victim of a bad shooting accident. Many are of opinion that some institution should be established for tho benefit of cottiers and their employees, with the result that the following have handed subscriptions to Mr W. F. Dines, asking that a campaign should be opener' to organise the establishment. .Subscriptions will be received at the "Chronicle" office:
