AMUSEMENTS
A large audience rewarded the efforts of the Empire Picture Company in their exhibition on Monday evening last, when the following items were presented: "Pathe Gazette 101";" The Courtship of Miles Standish"; "The Seapoy's Wife"; Lost in the Soudan"; "Zoological Gardens, Rome" special mention must bo made of this splendid and clear pourtrayal of the various animals from all parts of the world, such subjects as these being not only interesting, but very instructive. The comic element was made up as follows: —"When Strength is not a Blessing," "Tilly's Party," "The Elopement," and a star comedy "Laza"; also an industrial subject "Sack making at Cette,' 'and a novelty picture "Sterescoptican Study of Flowers. Next Monday there will be presented among other splendid subjects "The Grand National Steeplechase, 1911," and all lovers of sport should not fail to aee it.
