DISGRACEFUL UASE. By Telegraph—Press Association.—Copyright Received July 5, 11.30 a.m. London, Yesterday. George Lucid has been sentenced at the Old Bailey to seven years imprisonment for bigatpy. Twenty seven thousand letters were found in his lodgings, showing that he had been corresponding with 42 women simultaneously. He obtained £ISOO from one woman. Judge Rentoul said he hoped the suffragettes would change the law, and make the offence of * bigamy one for flogging.
