FOOTBALL.
MANIAPOTO RUGBY UNION. A meeting of the above Union was held in Mr Falwauer's office last evening. The following matches were drawn for Saturday next: —Te Kuiti v. Tanehopuwai, at Te Kuiti, 3 p.m.; Oparure v. Mangaoeehi, at Mangapeehi. B teams: Oparure v. Otorohanga, at Te Kuiti, 1.30 p.m. It was resolved that any player picked to play in representative matches, who does not notify the Secretary three clear days before the match that he is not able to play, will be liable, should his reasons not be satisfactory, to be suspended during the pleasure of the Union.

Winiata, Horowhenua.
