The Waikato Boxing Association held its third annual championship meeting last evening in the presence of a record house. There were fourteen bouts, and nine knock-outs. Results:—Middle-weight: Holt, Auckland, beat Brown, Hamilton; Prica, Auckland beat Bernard, Auckland; Spear, Manunui, beat Cronast, Auckland; final, Holt beat Spear. Featherweight: Chapman, Auckland, beat Moran, Auckland; Whalley, Auckland, beat Slade, Auckland; final, Chapman beat Whalley. Light-weights: Harvey, Ngaruawahia, beat England, Auckland; final, Harvey beat Reilly, Huntly. Welterweight: Burns, Paeroa, beat Griffin, Auckland. Bantams: Nickles, Auckland, beat Butland, Auckland; final r Nickles and Rathbone, Auckland drew. Heavy-weight: Hogg, Hamilton, beat Hunter, Auckland; Barclay, Manunui, beat Sampson, Ngaruawahia; final, Barclay beat Hogg.
