The Farmers' Auctioneering Co. report as follows: At Ohaupo, on Tuesday,, 13th, we yarded 450 head of cattle and 170 sheep. Forward bullocks made £6 15s, to £7 14s, 15 to 18 moijth steers £3 to £3 4s, fresh empty cow £3 10s to £4, store cow's'£2 12s to £3, empty 18 month heifers £2 12s to £2 15s, good calves 36s to £2 2s,younger sorts, 24s to 275, fat cows £5 7s 6d to: £5? 10s, springing heifers £5, forward wethers 13s. At Ngaruawhia on 14th inst., we yarded 370 cattle and 1500 sheep. There was a fair attendant, but bidding was very dull, prices being lower than late quotations. Notwithstanding this practically the whole yarding of cattle was quitted, and only two lines of wethers failed to reach the reserve. Fresh 3 and 3£ year steers made £5 10s to £6 ss, fresh \ and 3 year steers £4 12s to £5 2s, backward 2 and 2i year steer? £4, 18 month steers £3 Bs, calves 33s to 365, younger sorts £1 7s, speyed and empty heifers £2 15s, fresh cows £4 to £4 15s, springing cows, £5 to £6 10s, forward two-tooth wethers, 12s 2d, small wethers 10s, cull ewes 3s to 5s 6d, shorn hoggtes 7s 3d to 8s lOd, smalt hoggets ss.
