LODGE PLUNKET.

•© | INSTALLATION CEREMONY. ; The Installation of Lodge Plunket \ No. 163 was held last night, when | Bro. A. B. Jordan was duly installed \in thechair of King Solomon. There I was a large attendance cf the craft, ! including visitors from Lodge Tawhiri j (Frankton Junction), Beta Waikato i (Hamilton), Waipa (Te Awamutu) and Naumai (Taumarunui). The installation was conducted by M.W. Bro. O. Nicholson. P.G.M., and Grand Lodge officers. The working tools in the third degree were presented by W.B. O. Kay, W.M. Lodge Waipa, in the second degree by W.B. Flyger, W.M. Lodge Tawhiri, and in the first degree by W.B. Gardner, W.M. Lodge Naumai. The following officers were invested: —■ I. P.M., Wor. Bro. C. Stevens, P.M.; W.M., Bro. A. B. Jordan; S.W., Bro. F. H. Sims; J. W., Bro. A. J. Rawstrcn; Treasurer, W.B. G. Berry, P.M.; Secretary, Bro. M. W. Forsyth; Chaplain, Bro. E. S. Wayne; S.D., Bro. 11. Hine; J.D., Bro. G. P. Finlay; 1.G., Bro. A. V. Snadden; Tyler, Bro. W. Bond. After the installation a ball was held in the Town Hail, which had been decorated with flags for the occasion. Some eighty to one hundred couples assembled, and to the strains of Stevens' orchestra dancing was kept up until the small hours. W. Bro. A. B. Jordan, W. Bro. G. Berry and Bro. A. J. Rawstron acted as M.C.'s, and W. Bro. C. Stevens, P.M., and Bro. M. W. Forsyth as supper stewards. A full report will appear in our next issue.
