THE CENSUS PAPERS.
COMPLAINTS BY SETTLERS
! Complaints have come to hand from a number of settlers in the Maboenui ami Mangaronga dsitricts that tliey did not receive any census papers to ; riil in. It is considered probable that i this district was missed because the Fub-pnurrerators misunderstood their i boundaries, as one part of the Mahoe- ; nui district was worked from Awakino and the other part sup Dosed to be from Te Kuici. People view the blunder with alarm and hope that similar j mistakes have not been made elseI where. The position in the King j County demands very careful working as it is expected that on account of the increase of population that the lower King Country will be entitled to further Parliamentary representation next session.
