NEW CATHOLIC CHURCH
- A well attended meeting of Catholics was held in the Town Hall last night for the purpose of meetingBishop Geary and dicussing with him the prospects of getting a church built and a priest attached to the district. It was decided that a new church should be built at an early date, and a priest is very shortly to be stationed at Te Kuiti. Committees were formed for the purpose of raising funds and making a start, and a vote of thanks was passsed to the Bishop for his kindness in attending.
