JAPANESE INVESTIGATING

There have been a thousand deaths from plague at Sitsihar and ten members of the Russian Medical Corps were stricken at Habin yesterday. Japanese officials are leaving for China to investigate. The Chinese Government has granted a million yen for the purpose of fighting the epedemic. Professor Brogue, of the Pasteur Institute, is going to the infected area.
