Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Auckland, report as under on their Westfield fat stock market: —Beef —A fair yarding. All choice quality and good quality beef sold at increased rates, and fetched to 25s per hundred. Cow and heifer beef also took a good jump and sold at 2s to 3s per hundred better than la«t sale. Veal—A small entry and sold extra well. Mutton—An average yarding. Trices opened at fully Is per head better than last sale J)ut" easier a bit towards the finish. We bad a spelndid sale, the best so far Extra heavy wethers sold up to 25s top prices of the day; good heavy wethers 18s 6d to 225, lights and ordm. aiy 15s 6d to 17s. Lamb—A small yarding sold at late rates. Pork—A selling well at Jate rates.
