Maniapoto Rugby Union.

A meeting of the above Uunion was held in the "Chronicle" office on Tuesday evening last. Mr Matthew occupied the chair. Moved -by Messrs Lu3k and Matthew that the application from the Otorohanga Club to play the Kihikihi Club match at the end of the season.be granted provided that it does not clash with any of the Club's fixtures.— Carried.

Moved by Messrs Gray and Poutawera that B. Aldred be registered for the Te Kuiti juniors.—Carried. Moved by Messr3 Lusk and Poutawera that the junior fixture Nehe Nehe v. Te Kuiti, at Hangatiki, be played on Saturday, July 9th, arid that the match start at I.ls.—Carried.

Notice of motion by Mr Lusk:—(l). That in future the committee of the Maniapoto Rugby Union meet fortnightly on Tuesday evenings at 7.15 p.m., but that in the event of important business requiring attention the secretary be authorised to call a meeting at such time as the president and secretary deem advisable; .'■ (2) that the secretary get cards printed for the purpose of notifying such meeting and that they be sent out giving two cleaj: days' notice of such meeting." Hira Poutawera. was appointedreferee in the junior match at Hangatiki.

The next meeting will be held in Mr Falwasser's office on Tuesday, 12th inst., at 7.15 p.m.
