Ring-barking of Willows.

Government Grant of £IOO. The Minister of Lands sends the following letter to Mr W. T. Jennings, M.P., relative to a grant for ring-barking willows: — "Sir,—With reference to the letter from the chairman of the Waitomo County Council received from you in connection with the ring-barking of willows in the Mangapu and Mangaokcwa rivers, I beg to inform you that arrangements have been made for the authorising of an additional .£IOO to the County in order to complete the whole of the work this year."—J. G. WARD., Minister of Lands.
