Otorohanga Stockyards.

Plans in Preparation. Mr W. T. Jennings, M.P., has received the following reply to representations made by him in connection with railway .station accommodation at Otorohanga: ■■■- "Sir, With rafan erencc to your letter of 17th nit., and your representations in .support of the request made by the Otorohanga branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union that the .station accommodation at Otorohanga should lie improved, I have the honour to inform you that ko far as I am aware no definite promise has ever been made that the accomodation at that station would bo increased but it jk recognised by the Department that the cattle yards are not in the moat suitable position arid it is probable that at no very distant date a complete re-arrangemont of the station will be necessary. Plans are at present being prepared and your representations will be borne in mind when it is definitely known what funds will be available for the current financial ycar."--D. BUDDO, for Minister of Railways.
