KIO KIO RIFLE CLUB.

The third annual meeting of the Kio Kio Rifle Club was held in the Kio Kio school on Saturday evening, 19th inst., a fair number being present, the president presiding. After the secretary and treasurer had read their respective reports and the same were adopted, the following' officers and committees were elected for the ensuing year Patron, W. T. Jennings, esq.; vice-patrons, Messrs J. W. W. Ellis, T. Cumpstone, R. G. Matthews, W. Wylie, senr., H. Burnand, C. Stojrey, D. Ross, P. Barton, W. Vicary, J. Ormsby, R. Green, J. Newton, M. Cowley and ,E. president and secretary, Mr Win. J. Worthington; assistant-secretary and treasurer, Mr E. A. Forster; vice presidents, Messrs W. Wylie and A. J. Ross; general committee, Messrs Forster, A. J. Ross and Worthington; firing committee and handicappers, Messrs Ross, Wylie and Worthington. One new member was elected. The president was appointed delegate to represent the club at a meeting to be held shortly at Taumarunui for the purpose of forming a King Country Rifle Club Association. It was resolved that the next parade be held on April 15th and that a match be fired between teams chosen on the ground by the president and vicepresidents. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to all outgoing officers and the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the cbaijr. •' • -
