TE KUITI SPORTS CLUB.

A meeting of the above Club was held in the "Chronicle" Office on Wednesday evening last, Mr Matthew in the chair. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The inward correspondence was read and received. A large number of nominations were received for the various chopping events. It was resolved that no seconds be allowed on the ground in the chopping and sawing events, this being in accordance with the rules at Eltharn.

The request of the To Kuiti Fire Brigade to have the time of entry extended from the 9th to the 16th inst was granted. This refers to the Te Kuiti Fire Brigade event. Resolved that Mesrss Chilcott and Albrechtsen be empowered to make arrangements with the Oparure Band.

It was resolved that an advertisement be inserted in the Waikato Times on Saturday, February 26th. Resolved that the matter of arranging the price of space for side shows be left in the hands of the joint secretaries to deal with.

Resolved that the secretary be instructed to go into the matter of insurance and report to the next meeting.

Resolved that the offiicals and competitors be the only people allowed in the ring. Resolved that prize money be paid out by the secretaries between 9 and 10 o'clock in the evening of March 2nd, and that every prize winner, on application for his prize, shall produce the judge's certificate. Resolved that a blackboard be obtained for use on Sports day, on which to notify the various events and previous winners. Resolved that anyone giving a contribution of 10s 6d or over, or trophy, to the Sports Club be given a complimentary ticket. Resolved that complimentary tickets be issued to judges, handicappers and officials. Resolved that an executive committee consisting of members be appointed, five to form a quorum. The following are th 3 committee: -Messrs Albrechtsen, Berkham, Pitcon. Jane, Hitchcock, C. Chilcott, McMahon, and Matthew.

Resolved that a social committee, consisting of Messrs Fitzpatrick, Trinnear, Jane and Chilcott be appointed, and that they have power to act.

Resolved that rosettes be obtained for the judges, handicappers and the executive committee for Sports day.

Resolved that the next committee meeting be held in the "Chronicle" Office on February 16th, at 7.30 p.m.
