OTOROHANGA MAGISTRATES COURT.

Thursday, December 2nd. 1909. Before Mr F. O'B. Looghnan S.M. Robert Young was charged with assault upon Ben Lcprou. He was convicted and fined ten shillings and nine shillings costs. Wera Hemera was charged on theinformation of the Police that he obtained an order from Thomas Palmer to get goods from Green and Colebrook to the value of five pounds by means of a false pretence. After hearing evidence he was convicted and sentenced to three months hard labour in Auckland gaol. —Civil Cases.C. Rutherford v. Ben I*eprou nonsuit with XI Is costs to defendant. Ben Leproo v. M. Cowley claim for £1 9s commission for sale of boggy. Judgment for plaintiff with £3 lis 4d costs. Mr Hine appeared for Plaintiff and Mr Howarth for defendant. —Judgment Summons.—

Hannah Isaae v. Thomas Hughes, claim for £l2 6s. Ordered to pay forthwith, in default one month's imprisonment. Horner and Johnson v. Wate Wipa, claim for £7 IBs 10d. Ordered to pay forthwith, in default 14 days imprisonment.

C. J. Johnson v Hinaki claim for £22 13s lid. Ordered to pay forthwith, in default one month's imprsonment.
