SCHOOL CADETS.
The second stage of the class tiring by the Te Kuiti School Cadets, was brought off at the rifle range, Waitsti, yesterday, in order to add interest to the shooting, four teams of nine aside were picked by the sergeants. The following scores were recorded: — Sergeant W. Hetefc's team 53 Sergeant H. Mathew's team 40 Serjeant Cote's team 3? Ccv-Sergt. T. Hetet's team 27 The highest individual scores were: Private H. Wi. 23; Private W.Atbretcbsen 15; Col.-Sergeant T. Betet, 13; Private J. McJnteer, 12; Bugler Forsyth, 10, The shooting on the whole was of a aoor order. This is accounted for by the fact that the range i» a considerable distance from the school and boys having to walk or ride get too tired and shaken to do themselves justice. It is suggested that endeavours should be made to secure a more convenient range for the cadets in order that practice can be indulged in more frequently. ______________
