The floor was all that cootd be desired, and the mosic, r*«pplied by DukeHetet, piano: Mr Cr«ww, violin; Master Morgan, violin; and Mr £. Lever, piccolo, was, as osoat. of a very high order. Extras were also kindly given by Miss Unchain. Net* son; Miss Buckworth and Mr J. Hetet. and were much appreciated. The great variety of nice dresses worn by the ladies, also tended to give the Hall a gay appearance, and combined with the good floor and moisc. the first social of the scries proved a great success. Supper was provided by Mrs Cross. Mr Lever catering, and everyone did justice to all the good thingi supplied. Mr Chitcott. officiated as M.C. in his usual efficient manner.
