TE KUITI CRICKET CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Te Kuiti Cricket Club waa hetrl in the "Chronicle" Ofßce last night. There was a fair attendance and Mr J. B. Sharpies occupied the chair. In consequence of the absence of the Secretarfy the presentation of report and balance sheet was held over till Friday October Ist. The following new members were elected:—Rev G. 11. Morse, Messrs J. Francis, A. F. Jlowarth. L. Fearn, G. P. Fin I ay, D. Cray. Officers were appointed as follows:—President—Mr E. H. Hardy; vice-presidents—-Rev. G. H. Morse, Messrs J. B. Sharpie*, and N. C. Matthew; committee—Messrs Lostc, Wallace, Turner, Falwasser, H. I. Lever: secretary—Mr J. Steel. The election of Trea-mrer was held over until tile adjgurned meeting on October Ist.
The subscription was fixed at £1 Is for playing members, and 10s 6d for non-playing members. A hearty vote of thanks was passed to the retiring officers. Mr Morse intimated that he would present a bat for the highest batting average during the season.
