Resident Correspondent. Football. On the Kibikihi ground on Saturday,Te Awamutu juniors proved victorious against the Kihikihi juniors,the ncores being 11 points to 3. For Te Awnrnutu tries were scored by P#vi« and Teddy, the letter's try being converted. The game vas a willing one. W.Baker scored the only try for Kihikihi, Mr D. Bockett handled the whistle satisfactorily, Hockey. A double victory was registered ir. sporting circles on Saturday, the T« Awamutu ladies winning their hockev match against Hamilton. The weather was anything but propitious, rain falling throughout the game. This did not, however, damp their ardour, and after an interesting go Te Awamutu proved victors by one goal to nil. Snow. Pirongia presented a pretty sight on j Wednesday morning with ita covering of snow, it did not retain its beauty long .however, after the sun appeared. Waipa Rugby Union. At a meeting of the Waipa Rujgby Union on Friday night it was decided to play a return match with Hamilton shortly. A match was arranged with Cambridge for the 21st Inst.
