The annual meeting of the householders was held in the School on Monday, the 26th inst. at 4 o'clock for tb-' purpose of electing a School Committee . After the balance sheet and the other business had been gone into thoroughly, the following were elected as a committee for the Pactnako School district: W. J. Sincock. chairman, W. G. Alder, treasurer. J. McDonald. J. Gleadow. G. Churcher. We are to have a visit from the Whitehoose Bioscope on Friday, May 14th.
On Sunday morning the Rev. Father Moltoy held church here, and a large congregation attended. After service the Rev. gentleman proceeded to Aria.
Mr and Mrs Churcher have returned home from their holiday. Winter has come at last, and some very heavy frosts have been experienced oat here, and toe grass, as a result, will suffer severely.
