The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Limited, report as follows: —• At Hamilton on the 10th inst. we had a yarding of 64 fat cattle, 150 store cattle, and 150 sheep and pigs. Fat cattle were required and sold well, extra heavy cows realising £9; choice fat heifers"£7 ss; fat steers £6 to £9 2s; medium cows and heifers £5 to £5 12s 6d; small fat wethers 16s; aged fat ewes 13s 9d; forward empty ewes 12s 6d; woolly hoggets 10s 3d to 12s lid; yearling steers £2 2s; mixed yearlings 35s to 41s; store cows £2 to £2 15s; pigs were in keen demand and made extreme prices, sows realising £2 15s to £5; weaners 10s to 15s; slips to £2. At Waihou on Friday last we yarded 500 head of cattle comprising 79 beef, and 421 store cattle. There was a good attendance and brisk bidding throughout. The beef was required and sold readily. Well finished steers made from £8 18s to £lO 3s; others £7 16s to £S 8s; heavy cows and heifers £6 9s to £7; lighter weights £4 10s to £5 13s; 3J year steers £5 2s to £5 17s 6d; 2i yearc steers £4 10s; poor conditinoed 3 year steers £3 14s to £4 2s gnd 18 month steers £2 7s «£"£3 4s;*mixed yearlings 26s to 38s; calves 22s to 275; empty 18 month and 2 year heifers 35s to £2 12s; springing cows and heifers £5 15s to £7 2s 6d; others £4 15s downwards; fat wethers 17s; pigs—slips 19s 6d to 22s 6d; weaners 16s to 17s 6d.
