Te Kuiti (10) v. Oparure (nil).

Owing to a misunderstanding on the part of the Oparure players Te ICuiti-Oparure match was played at Te Kuiti. After a very friendly game the local team left the field victorious by 10 points to nil. The visitors had the advantage among the forwards, but were out-classed by the local backs, among whom F. Kerr was specially prominent. Tries were obtained by I. Kerr and Harper, and F. Kerr dropped a fine goal from the field.

A meeting of the Te Kuiti Football Club was held in Mr Gresham's rooms on Tuesday- evening. Mr J. Mclndoe presided, and there was a good attendance. It was decided to apply to the Domain Board for permission to plav matches during the season 011 the" Domain. A gold medal for presentation to most consistent player during the season was received from Mr J. Young, and the secretary was instructed to write thanking Mr Young for his donation.
