o A telegram has been received from the Premier, in answer to a largely signed requisition, thanking the settlers for their kind invitation to visit the district and open the Mokau Bridge on the proposed visit to the King" Countrv, but expressing the opinion that" the limited time will make it impossible. A meeting of the Railway League is to be held at Miroahuiao Hall on June 7th, at 2.30 p.m.
