Mr T. Hunt has disposed of his homestead property to Mr Thompson from South at a very satisfactory price. Several other properties in the district are also changing hands. • The Matiere footballers journeyed to Ohura on Saturday last, and played the Mangaroa team, which resulted in a win for Matiere by seven points to nil. In the evening the visitors were entertained by the Mangaroa team to dinner at Mr Crea's accommodation house, where a very enjoyable evening was spent. The Ohura Co-operative Dairy Company are calling for tenders for the erection of a cottage and creamery at Mangapapa, to be in readiness for the coming season. The following were elected at Mangapapa as a School Committee for the ensuing term : —Messrs Carter (Chairman), Cribb (Secretary), Peacock, Fauchelle, Box, Geisler and Leach.
