CORRESPONDENCE.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, —In your last issue, dated January 24th, there appears a report of a meeting held at Aria, by the Branch of the Liberal and Labour Federation, for the purpose of forming a Committee in connection with the proposed visit of the Premier to the Aria district. Much to my surprise and astonishment I found that my name -had been included as a member of the Committee. I therefore wish to state that I was not even present at that meeting, neither had I given my consent to be nominated as a member of that Committee. I should feel obliged if you will kindly inseit this denial, as I have no desire to be in any way connected with a project that has not my sympathy or support. —I am, etc., E. W. DAVIS. Aria, 24 I 08.
