TE KUITI SPORTS.
Several handicaps in connection with the wood-chopping events appeared wrongly in our last issue, and we now take this opportunity to correct them. In the 20in. chop, Rawlinson and Towns receive 65 and 70 seconds respectively, and in the underhand chop (lßin. block), Rawlinson and Hall are to receive 50 and 55 seconds respectively. The tender of Mr John Murphy (£5) has been accepted for the booth privileges, and the public may be quite certain of receiving every attention at his hands. Mr Hardy has kindly laid off the course in distances to suit the various events, and the spectators will have a splendid view of the proceedings from the natural grandstand which overlooks the ground. Messrs J. Hetet and M. Forsyth have the arrangements of the woodchopping events in hand, and the logs are now being carted to the ground. Most of the blocks have been donated to the Committee by Messrs J. and H. Hetet.
The following are the handicaps for the Athletic events in connection with the above sports, which take place on March I2th
