Sydney, April 24 At Reichard on Saturday evening a plumber named Russell shot a builder named Stewart dead, in public street, in the presence of several passers-by. Russell and Stewart had a dispute over a building. Lieutenant Charles Mansel, of warship Katoomba, was eourt-mar-tialled on a charge of being asleep when supposed to be getting his ship ready for sea. Court decided to severely reprimand and dismiss him from the ship. Timaru, April 25 The skeleton of a woman was picked up near the mouth of the Rangitata yesterday. It is thought to be probably that of a young woman who mysteriously disappeared five months ago.
