Sheep Sale.

Messrs Pyne & Co. report as follows At the Culverden sale there was a total entry of 64,200 sheep. Attendance of buyers was not so representative ’as usual, but, although prices showed a large drop as compared with last year, a good clearance was made. Freezing sheep sold at 14/6 to 16/10; freezing lambs 11/6 to 13/3; store 2 and 4tooth wethers 9/- to 13/-, according to size and condition. Half-bred 2 and 4-tooth ewes 11/- to 16/9; sound mouth ditto 9/- to 12/-; full mouth 2/6 to 4/-. Three-quarter bred 2 and 4-tooth ewes 9/- to 12/6. Sound mouth merino ewes at from 5/- to 8/4, the latter price being obtained for the Highfield ewes. Store lambs were dull of sale, and sold at all prices from 4/6 to 9/-.
