South Australia has arranged to divide the Govt banking account between Banks Australasia, Union, N.Z., Adelaide and Commercial. Interest of
monthly balance at 1 per cent is below the ordinary 12 month deposit rate. Ministers expect to prorogue Parliament on Friday next. Govt informed Legislative Assembly it will not attempt to pass State Advances and Consolidation Loan Bills this session.
