At Mosgiel this morning young man named Aristides Verral Brown, clerk in National Bank, committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with a revolver. Brown was about 24 years of age, son of Revd. Wiu Parton Brown, now of Dunedin, formerly of Waikaia. Nothing is known as to reason of the act, the books being all right. Brown had been relieving in the Bank for a week.
