Sensational Finds of Gold.
PERTH (W.A.), Aug 9 Another wonderful find of gold, outvying that of Londonderry mine, has been made between Coolgardie and Lake Barlee. Parcel of 4501 b of stone has been lodged in Union Bank, and fully half of it is pure gold. Another piece, which could not be brought in, is estimated to contain 2cwt of gold. Discovery was made by 2 brothers named Dunn, of Sydney. Reef is 14 feet thick.
HOBART, Aug 9
Rich discovery of gold reported from West Coast. Exact locality unknown. Govt Geologist reports favourably on find, which yields 12oz to ton.
