FREE SPEECH MUST BE GUARDED

If there is to be any continued stoppage of free speech in Christchurch, or anywhere else, the fight must be taken on. Paction must be forgotten, and direct action taken. All rebels and freedom lovers must be prepared to insist on the right to speak in public on any subject they think fit. Genuine Rebels in the South Island, especially those not tied, should be prepared to descend on Christchurch and educate the Mayor and his satellites as to the limitations of their rights.
