PADDY’S MARKET
£3l/3/10 MADE ON THE DAY KENNEDY’S BAY EFFORT The Western Patriotic Committee held a successful Paddy’s Market in. the Coromandel Patriotic Shop on Easter .Saturday, [Greatly assisted by generous citizens, the workers received a grand variety of produce which was quickly sold when the shop opened at 1 p.m. The result of the day’s takings was £3l 3s lOd. At Kennedy’s Bay on the same day a Paddy’s Market organised by Mrs Bell produced £l2 8s 3d, which is a figure they are proud to advertise. The Western Patriotic Committe at Coromandel is on the ladder with £62 to its credit.
