WORK OF ANGLE-DOZER COMMENT BY COUNCILLOR A tribute to the work done by the angle-dozer on the Port JacksonFletcher’s Bay road was paid by Cr. J. E. Jackson at the April meeting of the Coromandel County Council. In discussion arising out of the engineer’s report, Cr. Jackson stated in reference to work on Pt. JacksonFletcher’s Bay road that he was pleased to hand out a laurel wreath to the angledozer and the driver for the excellent work done. He regretted that the arranged inspection by members of the council had not taken place owing to the weather but hoped that the inspection might yet be madein the near future.
