GOOD ATTENDANCE

MEETING OF HOUSEHOLDERS KAIHERE SCHOOL COMMITTEE * There was a good attendance of householders for the biennial election of the Kaihere School committee. Results of the election were:—Mr G. Sexton (chairman), Mr Frank Westlake (secretary), Mr E. Pulman, Mr G. Hunter and Mrs Frank Richardson. Mr S. Anderson, who retired after 13 years as chairman, spoke of the changes which have taken place in the school this last few years. Kaihere has now one of the most up-to-date schools on the Hauraki Plains, and the school grounds and gardens are second to none.
