PERSONAL
Mr J. A. Armstrong has returned home to Auckland after spending some months with Mr and Mrs J. W. Armstrong, Komata. Mr R. W. Chappell, District Manpower Officer, Paeroa, leaves for Wellington to-night on official business. He will he away all the week. Mr F. 'Pinchess of Waitakaruru has returned after spending Easter in Auckland. Mr J. McWatters of Waitakaruru spent the Easter holiday in Auckland and has now returned) home. L.A.C. Mervyn Simpsqn, R.N.Z.A.F. is at present on furlough from an air station and is staying with his parents, Mr and Mrs W. Simpson, Post Office, Waitakaruru. Pte. (Ist. Class) J. Dodd, U.S.'M.C?, spent the Easter holiday with Mr and Mrs W. Cropp of Mangatarata. Mr G. McGowan, headmaster of the Kerepeehi School is on a fortnight’s sick leave. Mr E. J, Westlake, of Kaihere is visiting Auckland.
Mr T. Hooker has been a recent visitor to Kaihere.
