COROMANDEL BOWLS

VISIT FROM MORRINSVILLE WIN FOR LOCAL TEAM During the week an interesting and pleasant game of bowls was played on the Coromandel green when a Morrinsville rink consisting of Messrs Maber, Sing, Pole and Hetherington (s.) met a Coromandel rink, Messrs Murphy, Lillis, Beveridge and Horne (s). A hearty welcome was extended to the visitors at afternoon tea.

A friendly and strenuous game ended in favour of Coromandel, 21 to 18.
