ANNUAL MEETING IN PAEROA OFFICERS FOR YEAR ELECTED The annual meeting of the Paeroa branch of the New Zealand'National Party was held in the Parish Hall on Friday night, the chairman, Mr W. F. Johnstone presiding over a good attendance of members. The district organiser, Mr R. Ross, was also present. The election of officers resulted as under: — President, Mr D. G. McMillan; vicepresident, Mr A. E. Day, secretary, Mr H. C. Jackson; committee, Messrs C. G. Jackson, F. Thorp, W. Noble, W. Murray, W. F. Johnstone, H. Gillard, R. S. Carden, V. Young, P. Pippen, C. Kennedy, Mrs D. G. McMillan and Miss V. Menzies. Mesdames W. Noble, D. G. McMillan and P. R. Hubbard, Messrs F. Thorp, D. G. McMillan, H. C. Jackson, C. Kennedy, P. Pippen, W. Murray, W. F. Johnstone, C. G. Jackson, R. ,S. Carden, A. E. Day, H. Gillard, V. Young, B. E. Veale, P .R. Hubbard, were appointed delegates to attend the annual conference at Thames.
