Dr. N. Siegel, veterinary surgeon of Ngatea for the past few years, has been appointed chief veterinary surgeon for the Franklin Veterinary Association with headquarters at Pukekohe.
The death of Flying-Officer E. I. Smallfield, Hauraki Plains, is presumed in an Air Force casualty list He was previously reported missing, believed killed.
