GALA DAY

FUNCTION EASTER MONDAY AID FOR PATRIOTIC FUNDS At a meeting held in Kercpcehi last Friday ni£ht it was decided to hold a Patriotic 'Gala Day in the Kerepeehi School grounds on Easter Monday, April 10. The programme will comprise running races for both school children and adults while a greasy pig competition for the youngsters as well as the adults should provide much fun. Tugs-o’-war, guessing competitions and other forms of amusement will also be included in the day’s sport. A bring and buy stall will also be held on the day and an appeal for produce of all types and kinds is being made by the committee. Admission will be by popular prices, adults Is, children fid, and the entertainment promised l should be well worth the money.
