HARVEST FESTIVAL

WAITAKARURU ANGLICANS DISPLAY OF FRUIT & PRODUCE There was a Splendid attendance at the Harvest Festival which was held in the Anglican Church Hall at Waitakaruru on Friday evening last. The Rev. David, who is the priest in charge of the Hauraki Plains, conducted the service and Mrs Neville Hedges was at the organ. The hall was filled to capacity. Following the service a dainty supper was served by the ladies, after which the large amount of fruit and vegetables was auctioned by Mr Hedges.
