In the >ba>by show held in conjunction with St. George’s Anglican Flower Show at Thames recently Diana Elliott, aged four months, of Omahu, was the winner of the section for babies under the age of six months. Mrs E. Heasman, of Hauraki road, Turua, is visiting her sister at Whangarei. Mrs F. Klaus of Morrinsville, who has been visiting Mrs J. White of Aorangi road, Paeroa, has returned home. Mrs W. Roach of Herne Bay, Auckland, is the guest of her aunt, Mrs R. Nield, Albert street, Paeroa. Mrs Lawrence, of Waihi, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs J. ■Ganley, Waitakaruru, has now returned home. Mrs Alec Otter, of Waitakaruru, has returned home after (spending some time in Auckland. Mrs Vine of Mangatarata, has left for Auckland to meet her brother Mr D. Chalmers who has been repatriated from a prisoner of war camp in Germany. Mrs Rex. Duffin of Waitakaruru is entertaining her brother, Sgt. Gordon Stuart of Hamilton, who recently arrived on furlough, from the Middle East. Her mother, Mrs Stuart is also her guest. Mrs Death of Miranda road, Waitakaruru, has staying with her her two nieces, Mrs Brown and Mrs Wallace, both of Hamilton. Misses N. Stansell, Kerepeehi, and P. Rawlins, 'Paeroa, spent' the weekend in Ngaruawahia to attend the regatta. Mrs H. Burnett, Pt. Chevalier, Auckland, is visiting Kerepeehi as the guest of Mr and Mrs A. L. Fisher. Mrs W. Kidd, Kerepeehi, is spending a week in Tauhei with her sister, Mrs F. H. Manning. Miss N. Strong, Kerepeehi, is spending a holiday in Huntly with her sister, Mrs Ruston. Miss J. Herbert, Kerepeehi, spent the week-end in Morrinsville.
