McDougall—edmonds BRIDE IN-IVORY SATIN GOWN A wedding of New Zealand interest took place at St. Francis’ Church, Naugatuck, Connecticut, U.S.A., on December 18, w’hen Miss Mary Margaret Edmonds, only daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Edmonds, of Connecticut, was married to Pilot-Officer Bruce McDougall, Royal Canadian Air Force, son of Mrs K. McDougall and the late Mr J. G. McDougall, of Herne Bay, Auckland, and formerly of Paeroa. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Father Dunn. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely trained frock of ivory satin, and a tulle veil of finger-tip length, which was fastened to a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a Prayer Book with a spray of gardenias and narcissus. Her cousin, Mrs Francis Healey, was her attendant, wearing a gown of rose-coloured faille, with a matching coronet and a short veil. Her bouquet was of roses. Mr Francis Healey was (best man. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
