PAEROA BOROUGH RATES 97.3% PAID TO DATE Congratulations were extended to the acting-town clerk, Mr A. A. Jenkinson by members of the Paeroa Borough Council on Thursday night when he announced that to date 97.3 per cent, of the rates had been collected as at the end of February. Mr Jenkinson stated that the rates struck had totalled £6238 10s lid and by the end of Febroary a total of £6073 17s lid had been paid. Since that date other rates had been paid and more were coming in each day.
