RIFLES RETURNED TOO LATE COMPLAINT FROM COLVILLE Believing that their rifles would ibe returned in time for them to shoot pigs, farmer members of the Colville Home 'Guard last year accordingly purchased ammunition. However, the rifles were not returned till early this year, at an unsuitable time for pigshooting. Through the Thames Sub-Provin-cial Executive of the Farmers’ Union the branch has now written to Mr J. Thorn, M.P., asking that the Government take back the ammunition and return the money.
