County Council Meets The.monthly meeting of the Coromandel County Council was held at Coromandel on Wednesday, March 8, the chairman, Mr C. C. Rae presiding. Others present were Crs J. G. Strongman, H. C. Bull, E. M. Minifie, C. S. A. Geard, A. J. Denize, T. E. Simpson and J. E. Jackson, the clerk Mr J. H. Lucas, and engineer, Mr A. H. Benham were also in attendance. An apology for absence was received from Cr. A. Watkins on account of illness. County Accounts Accounts to a value of £1(514 10s lid were passed for payment at the March meeting of the Coromandel County Council: . ‘ Whitianga Popular Accommodation • is fullytaxed at the Whitianga; JJbjte}; 'and (boarding houses for the Easter holidays’. There are still campers at the Whitianga camping grounds.
