144 GIFT PARCELS

PAEROA PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE GOODS PACKED LAST MONTH During the month of February the Paeroa District Patriotic Committee packed and despatched 144 gift parcels for servicemen overseas, reported the secretary, Mr R. L. Darley to Monday night’s meeting of the committee. Each of the 144 parcels dispatched during' February contained 1 tin jam, 1 tin coffee and milk, 1 cake, 1 tin fruit, soap," 1 tin lamb and peas, chewing gum and dentifrice. Thanks were extended to Mr T. Pye and his assistants for packing the parcels and to Mr A. J. DonU for a gift of chewing gum.
