INJUSTICES IN REDUCTION FARMERS’ UNION PROTEST “ That this branch requests the union to up the matter" of an injustice in regard to war damage insurance with the responsible authorities. All policy holders whose premiums fall due on January and February of this year pay 5 per cent, three times in succession while all others pay the 5 per cent, twice then revert to the 1 per cent. We contend that all should pay equally and urge the union to press for refunds of the difference between 5 per cent, and 1 per cent, to those who have paid the third time, was a Netherton remit approved at Tuesday’s meeting of the Northern Thames Sub-Provincial Executive of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union.
